Requirement 08 is retitled to say what its checks cover. The About page names the founder and pairs each commitment with its evidence. ## What changed The Trooth Standard now opens with a bar giving its version, status, publication and revision dates, its maintainer and the fact that no outside body has reviewed it. Each of the 14 requirements opens to a plain summary and eight particulars: what is checked, the assets covered, the evidence, when it is checked, when it goes stale, and what it does and does not establish, with the technical wording and the mapped checks one level down. The page separates four outcomes that were easy to confuse: a check that ran and found nothing, evidence that was not available, a read that failed, and a requirement that does not apply. A worked example follows requirement 06 from the query to the published record, the coverage figures are read from the mapping file, and governance names the owner, the revision history, how to propose a change, the transition rules and the correction route. Requirement 08 is now titled No secrets detected in the checked sources, because its checks read two paths on the primary domain and record the company's attestation about its repositories; they do not scan for secrets anywhere else. The Buyer Review Standard is now a library of its 76 items, narrowed by six questions about the purchase, with search. Every item has a stable identifier, the question to ask, why it matters, when it applies, acceptable evidence, a responsible reviewer and whether it rests on law, on the contract or on the buyer's preference. Public and Under NDA (a non-disclosure agreement) are explained as how evidence is shared, not how strong it is. Eighteen reasons were reworded so each can be assessed, one review item is worked end to end, and each crosswalk row says whether its match is direct, partial or contextual. The About page names the founder, gives the company's registration and contact routes, a dated timeline, and pairs each commitment with the document or record that bears it out. It says plainly that a plan for Trooth ceasing to operate is not yet published. ## Why it changed The Standard listed its requirements without saying, for each one, which assets it covers, when it goes stale or what it does not establish, and one title claimed more than its checks read. The Buyer Review Standard mixed legal obligations with preferences, promised outcomes no review can confirm, and said data must stay in one region when the law allows lawful transfers. The About page made a general claim about review sites that is not true of all of them. ## Who is affected - **Affected:** Anyone reading /standard, /buyers/standard or /about, and anyone who reads the check mapping file. No reading, profile or outcome changed. - **Availability:** Public. No account needed. - **Release stage:** Available. - **Areas:** Methodology, Platform. ## What to do **No action required.** Nothing to do. Requirement 08's checks are unchanged, and the mapping file keeps every identifier.
