A comparison can now show an answer as Stale, Disputed, Temporarily unavailable or From a public source, and each cell names its source. Directory search also matches domains and product names, and two companies with the same name are told apart by their domain. From a comparison, a buyer can ask a company for documents without leaving the table. A published profile cannot add a product video without a transcript link beside it; a video already live is not affected. In the editor, the section index is grouped by area, and publishing an update to followers now shows how many workspaces it will reach before it is sent. Developers can ask /api/network/profile for named sections and page through a large record with limit and after; each response says whether it was cut short, and a request with neither still gets the whole record. The public read has a generous per-network limit. Spreadsheet exports no longer let a cell start a formula. A webhook subscribed to Trooth's status page must answer a one-time challenge first, and a chat destination must be on its provider's own address. ## Why it changed Trooth closed 213 of its open launch requirements on September 28, 2026, each with code or a check that now runs on every build. These are the changes a reader, a company or a developer can see. ## Who is affected - **Affected:** Anyone reading or comparing company profiles, companies editing and publishing a profile, developers calling the public record, and anyone subscribing to Trooth's status page with a webhook. - **Availability:** Public, except the editor changes, which are in the company workspace. - **Release stage:** Available. - **Areas:** Trust Profiles, Network, API, Company workspace, Webhooks, Platform. ## What to do **No action required.** Nothing is required. A company that adds or replaces a product video on a published profile is asked for a transcript link before it publishes. ## Dates - **Announced:** September 28, 2026, the day this entry was written.
