# Architecture

Every value the Trooth application programming interface (API) returns came through this path. Select a node to see what it receives, what it emits, and what it is unable to do. The last node, who reads the record, includes your own pipeline, through the command-line interface (CLI).

Not written to. Trooth does not change the systems it reports on, and a connector whose scopes could write says so before you connect.
