# Machine-Readable Company Profiles

Most company profiles go stale the day they're published. A Trooth Profile shows its sources and when each fact was last checked: the record your company and your future buyers deserve.

The record

## One record every buyer can check.

Your facts, evidence and history on one page that updates with the evidence.

How it works

Nine stages, one signed chain

## From claim to published record.

Each stage runs today, in the order a company's record reaches it.

[Read the method](https://trooth.co/methodology)

### Claim

- A named officer and proven domain control, re-checked when either changes.
### Connect

- A pasted credential. Trooth only reads with it, but a token can carry more than reading, so each connector lists the least it needs.
### Witness

- Live configuration from the source of record, not a questionnaire or screenshot.
### Label

- Every fact names its source:
  - Witnessed by Trooth
  - A public record
  - The company's own declaration, recorded and not checked
### Sign

- Trooth signs the checks it read and their results. Declarations are unsigned and outside the signature.
### Publish

- Facts with sources, beside the signed witness statement. Unread items show as not read.
### Re-witness

- Live probes re-read hourly. Any change from the last signed result is published.
### Peer attest

- A named person answers in their own words. No one is credited with a statement they never saw.
### Broadcast

- Changes reach where buyers work. Each send is logged as delivered, failed or queued; queued is not delivered.

For vendors

## What a claimed page gives you.

Company IDCyber SecurityTroothtrooth.coCoverage65 facts read at the last readingLast readOctober 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM CDT

- Buyers in your category reach your record the same way they reach any other.
Ordering is mechanical and published: companies Trooth witnessed first, most recent on top.

For buyers

## Know who you're trusting.

- [Check the evidence yourselfReplay a signed observation to confirm it is unchanged. Unchecked trust is only a claim.Check signature](https://trooth.co/verify/keys)

For developers and AI agents

## AI agents read the record. No key, no account, nothing to install.

[Read the agent docs](https://trooth.co/docs/agents)

Two addresses do most of the work: the canonical read, [`GET https://trooth.co/api/network/profile`](https://trooth.co/docs/api#op-get-api-network-profile), and the MCP server, [`https://api.trooth.co/public/mcp`](https://trooth.co/docs/agents#every-tool). Neither needs a key.

### [ChatGPT](https://trooth.co/docs/chatgpt-codex) and [Claude](https://trooth.co/docs/claude)

A ChatGPT directory app and a read-only Claude connector.

### Every page in Markdown

Add .md to any address, or request text/markdown, for the agent version.

### Files that say what to read

llms.txt, a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server card and an application programming interface (API) catalog tell agents what to read and how.

Five ways in

## Add it to your stack.

[Read the developer docs](https://trooth.co/docs/api)

```
# Add Trooth as a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector# ChatGPT: open Trooth Network in the app directory# Claude: Customize > Connectors > Add custom connector, paste:https://api.trooth.co/public/mcp
```

Integrations

Read-only connections

## We connect read-only.

Trooth reads your cloud, identity, code and AI systems and never writes to them. Each connector shows its permissions first.

Reliability

Ready for review

## Sourced for review.

One current record organizes source-linked inputs for a security review, every fact labeled by its source and dated where known. It is not an audit, certification, or suitability decision.

[See how trust works](https://trooth.co/methodology#evidence)

### Current by design

- Live probes re-read hourly. Any other fact past its published freshness window is labeled stale.
  [Read the method](https://trooth.co/methodology)
### Read-only by default

- Trooth reads connected systems, never writes to them, and shows each connector's permissions first.
### Signed and replayable

- Each reading is hashed, appended and signed, replayable against Trooth's published key.
  [Check a signature](https://trooth.co/verify/keys)
### One link for every review

- One link or an embed, readable by buyers and AI agents without an account.
