Look up any company's public record from Cursor's agent.
Add to Cursor
Opens the Cursor app. Nothing happens if it is not installed: download Cursor first.
Install Trooth
Open the install link
Select Add to Cursor above. Your browser asks to open Cursor; allow it.
Confirm the install
Cursor asks whether to install the trooth server. Confirm. There is no key to paste.
Ask the agent
Open a new agent chat and ask it to use Trooth with the prompt below.
Add it by hand
Or add this to .cursor/mcp.json for one project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project:
{ "mcpServers": { "trooth": { "url": "https://api.trooth.co/public/mcp" } }}Try it in Cursor
Use Trooth to check the vendors this project calls and tell me which publish a security contact, with who said it and when. What you can do

Other ways to connect
- From a terminal, with no setup: the trooth CLI.
- From your own code, with one request and no key: the API.
- From any other AI tool that takes a remote Model Context Protocol server: the MCP endpoint and every tool on it.
Troubleshooting
- The link does nothing: install Cursor first, or add the block above by hand.
- The tools do not appear: open Customize in the sidebar and check that trooth is turned on, then start a new chat.
- To stop using it, turn trooth off under Customize, or delete its entry from mcp.json.
